Reasons For Failing
We are often asked why drivers fail. Throughout the years of providing training to students, we have observed many returning from their test after failing it. So, why is this the case?
There are two common reasons, which are:
1. Students are too nervous
2. They are under prepared
Common Mistakes Students Make On Driving Tests
The two reasons mentioned above provides a bit of insight into the mistakes students commonly make during testing. These mistakes include:
. Speeding- Going faster than the posted speed limit
. Failing to come to a complete stop at signs
. Failing to give the right away at intersections
. Not maintaining proper road position before or after turning
. Not being safe while passing parked or moving vehicles, pedestrians, cyclists and so forth
. The vehicle used was not roadworthy
There are other reasons too, such as not obeying traffic laws such as signs, road markings and speed. Others include making poor decisions when about to merge with traffic or entering the line of traffic. Some students have stalled in traffic, which has led them to fail their test.
