Course C1 : Advanced Freeway and City Driving

Location: Mitchell and Kwinana Freeways and Perth Central City

Content: Extended forward observation. Multi Lane changing. ON/Off ramp procedures. Creating “gaps” and dealing with “tailgaters” and “lane hoppers”. Overtaking. Emergency braking. Emergency lanes. Stopping and accidents on Freeways. Familiarisation with city entry and exits to Wellington, James, Hay and Murray Streets and Riverside Drive and the Farmer Tunnel. Laws relating to minimum Freeway speeds. Bus and taxi lanes. Best access route to Royal Perth Hospital and Police Station. Northbridge and inner-city one way streets. Horseshoe Bridge. Nightclubs. Clearways. Bus zones. Highrise carparking.

Note: This is a confidence-building course. It conquers city nerves and heightens traffic and road law awareness and greatly enhances driving skills.

Course C2 : Advanced Country Driving

Location: Kalamunda, Mundaring Weir, Sawyers Valley and State Forest regions.

Content: Country hilly terrain, travelling on narrow winding bitumen and gravel roads. Training in emergency braking on different surfaces. Cornering lines. Country hazard awareness. Extended forward observation. Overtaking at maximum speed limits. Country fatigue and vehicle management skills.

Note: This is a progressive course tailored to suit individual needs. This is not a casual country drive. It is an advanced driver training course for the purpose of saving lives.
